MICHELLE LAMY, ASSESSMENT OFFICER
[1] Pursuant to the judgment rendered in this matter on February 7, 2000, Her Majesty the Queen filed her bill of costs May 4, 2000 and asked that it be assessed without personal appearance of the parties. Raymonde Bernard's counsel was then informed, in a letter dated May 10, 2000, that he should submit his written representations by May 26, 2000. As of this day, no reply to this letter has been received from him.
[2] In view of the foregoing and the factors listed in Rule 400(3) of the Federal Court Rules, fees in the amount of $1,500.00 are allowed for the services rendered under items 5 (5 units), 6 (2 units), 8 (3 units), 9 (2 units), 25 (1 unit) and 26 (2 units) of Tariff B, Column III, and disbursements totalling $647.69 for filing with the Court, service and photocopies. The number of units for assessment of costs is reduced by 2 units as this proceeding was not contested.
[3] The costs of Her Majesty the Queen are assessed and allowed in the amount of $2, 147.69. A certificate shall issue for that amount.
