OTTAWA, ONTARIO, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 1997
PRESENT: THE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE TEITELBAUM
IN THE MATTER OF the Citizenship Act,
R.S.C. 1985, c. C-29
AND IN THE MATTER OF an appeal from the decision
of a Citizenship Judge
AND IN THE MATTER OF
Paul Kamkian,
Appellant
ORDER AND REASONS FOR ORDER
On May 16, 1994, the appellant, Paul Kamkian, filed in the Federal Court Registry an appeal from a decision of a Citizenship judge refusing his application for citizenship.
The Registry of the Federal Court attempted on two occasions, August 15 and 24, 1995, to contact the appellant to find out whether he intended to proceed with his appeal.
In both cases the Court"s correspondence was returned, which indicates that the appellant has moved.
WHEREAS the appellant has not provided the Registry with a new address and has not proceeded with his appeal;
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the appeal be dismissed.
