REASONS FOR ORDER
PINARD J.:
[1] These are reasons in support of the order that I rendered at the hearing on August 8, 2001.
[2] The application for judicial review is addressed to a decision of the Appeal Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board (the "Appeal Division") rendered on September 1, 2000 under subsection 74(2) of the Immigration Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. I-2, setting aside its order to stay of January 9, 1995, dismissing the applicant's appeal and ordering that the removal order against him since May 10, 1994 be executed as soon as circumstances permitted.
[3] The applicant was neither present nor represented at this hearing, notice of which was properly given.
[4] After a detailed review of the record, the conclusions of the Appeal Division appear to me to be correct and reasonable. In the circumstances, I accept the request by counsel for the respondent to dismiss the application for judicial review without further ado.
