REASONS FOR JUDGMENT
McGILLIS J.
[1] Despite the able submissions of counsel for the applicant, I have not been persuaded that the Immigration and Refugee Board ("Board") committed any error in rejecting the applicant's claim to Convention refugee status on the basis that he lacked credibility. Although one of the Board's examples given in support of its conclusion was based on a misapprehension of the evidence, its other findings were reasonably open to it. In the circumstances, the Board's decision is not patently unreasonable, and my intervention in this matter is not warranted.
[2] The application for judicial review is dismissed. The case raises no serious question of general importance.
