T-919-97
Between:
ROGERS COMMUNICATIONS INC.,
Applicant,
- and -
THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF CANADA and
B.C. TELECOM INC., c.o.b. as BC TEL,
Respondents.
REASONS FOR ORDER AND ORDER
ROULEAU, J.
A claim for privilege pursuant to section 39(1) of the Canada Evidence Act was filed by the clerk of the Privy Council in relation to the documents attached as schedule "A" to the certificate sworn the 29th day of July, 1997 and filed with the Court on September 16, 1997.
I have reviewed the contents of the schedule in which the documents are listed and described in sufficient detail to permit the Court to assess their contents.
I am satisfied that the objection to the disclosure of these documents should be maintained without examination or hearing pursuant to section 39(1) of the Act.
