REASONS FOR ORDER
(Delivered from the Bench at Toronto, Ontario
on Wednesday, October 18, 2000)
ROTHSTEIN J.A.(ex officio)
[1] This is a credibility case. The Board went to considerable detail to explain why it found the applicant not to be credible. A number of explanations were provided by applicant's counsel as to why the Board should not have reached the conclusion that it did. However, it is the duty of the Board to assess the evidence and to make credibility findings. The Board gave a number of reasons in support of its conclusion. The applicant has not demonstrated that the Board was clearly wrong. This is not a case for intervention by the Court. The judicial review must be dismissed.
