NOËL J.:
This is an appeal from a decision of a citizenship judge dated December 7, 1995, denying the appellant's application for citizenship on the ground that she did not meet the knowledge requirements set out in paragraph 5(1)(e) of the Citizenship Act.
The ground stated by the appellant was:

I was very intimidated by the proceedings and I became temporarily disoriented. |
After hearing the appellant answer the various questions put to her by the amicus curiae, I find, as did he, that she is now capable of demonstrating an adequate knowledge of Canada and of the rights and duties of Canadian citizens.
The appeal is allowed.
