Date: 19971126
Docket: T-1269-97
PRESENT: THE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE WETSTON
BETWEEN:
IN THE MATTER OF the Citizenship Act,
R.S.C., 1985, c. C-29
AND IN THE MATTER OF an appeal from the
decision of a Citizenship Judge
AND IN THE MATTER OF
ZHU-JIE WANG,
Appellant.
REASONS FOR JUDGMENT
WETSTON, J.
[1] I have considered the evidence in this trial de novo and have concluded that Mr. Wang's business absences from Canada do not detract from the fact that he has indeed centralized his mode of living in Canada. There are sufficient indicia to indicate that his residence in Canada has been maintained and not merely intended to be resumed.
(Sgd.) "Howard I. Wetston"
