THE MINISTER OF CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION
Respondent
REASONS FOR ORDER AND ORDER
EVANS J.
[1] The applicants failed to appear at the hearing without any explanation. They had been served with the order granting them leave to apply for judicial review of a decision of the Refugee Division dismissing their claims to be recognized as refugees.
[2] The order included the date, time and place of the hearing of the application for judicial review. It was sent by registered mail to their last known address, but was returned and marked "Moved: address unknown". On the morning of the hearing the registry officer attempted to contact the applicants at their last known telephone number, but was unsuccessful.
[3] On the basis of the materials filed by the applicants in support of their application for leave to apply for judicial review and for judicial review I formed the opinion that their case was very weak and was most unlikely to succeed.
[4] For these reasons, the application for judicial review is dismissed.
